Keep Some Room in Your Heart for the Unimaginable

This month Daniel and I will be celebrating our four-year wedding anniversary. We've been together for a little over five years and if you had asked me when we first met if I later down the road I'd be creating this wonderful life with him, I'd have told you it was unimaginable.

In May I'll be celebrating a year of being graduated from college. It took me six years to get my bachelors degree after moving to three different states while Daniel was on active duty. Just short of two months post-graduation I can say that I completed my degree, but there were times along the way that if you had asked me if I thought I'd ever be finished with school I'd have told you it was unimaginable.

In just two short months we'll be holding our sweet baby girl. If you had told me last July, when we made the decision to start trying for a baby, that in just one month I would become pregnant and begin feeling a love for a tiny human being that I couldn't even see yet, I'd have told you that it was unimaginable.

As a natural planner, I've always had a slight fear of the unimaginable. But as it turns out, many of the the biggest and most monumental things have happened in my life because I was at least somewhat open to the possibility of unimaginable things.

I hope you go into today with your heart open to the wonderful, unimaginable things in life.

You never know where you might end up.
